About Us

World Mission Ministries International (WMMI) was founded in 2017 as a non-denominational non-profit organization by Simon W. Johnson.

Why We Started

“In the summer of 2012, my wife was diagnosed with stage two going into stage three of breast cancer. The doctors found a 5-centimeter mass and advised immediate chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. During the first session of chemotherapy, Christ blessed our family with a miracle. The mass disappeared and the Grace of God healed my wife. This mighty miracle perplexed and shocked the doctors. This testimony led my heart to share the goodness and mercy of Christ with others around the world. As a result, World Mission Ministries International (WMMI) came to fruition. It delights me to say that my wife and two daughters are actively participating in this mission with me.”

I was born and raised in Pakistan, in a missionary family. As a child, I was surrounded by the church environment which encouraged me to pursue my passion for God’s work. When I was young, I gathered my frieds together to form a Gospel music band. Through opportunities raised by God, we as a band traveled from village to village, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through powerful worship and outreach evangelism. As I walked deeper with the Lord, He opened doors for me to start as a youth minister. Thereafter, I traveled to Singapore to receive leadership training which led me to organize leadership seminars in different villages and cities in Pakistan. Another door opened for me in Malaysia to advance my leadership training. I also received my BTH and Doctor of Ministry from Vision Christian University International along with an M.DIV from Vision Bible College & Seminary PGA. God further used me as a vessel to conduct evangelistic crusades, conferences, conventions, and festivals. He also gave me the heart to start a Gospel music production, discipleship training, church planting, and doing social and humanitarian work. After years of serving God in Pakistan, we were led to the United States. There, my family, and I came face to face with the biggest challenge of our lives. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer; however, God used that low of our lives to be used for His Glory and World Mission Ministries International (WMMI) came into being.
